Scott uses the Inductive Bible Study Method of analyzing text to bring clarity to the subject matter of each author while creating an understanding of the intent and purpose of their writings. Scott remains inspired to teach the Word of God. His Ph.D. in Christian Counseling with an emphasis on discipleship development, successful completion of a nine-month (fulltime) intensive School of Biblical Studies in the Ukraine, and God-given wisdom equipped him for this work.
Scott listens intently to understand the challenges that people face. From this understanding, using wisdom and direction from God through the power of the Holy Spirit, Scott designs Scripturally based teachings to help each person develop as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Significant and positive change occurs as the reality of the enemy’s influence is exposed. This happens when an individual fully comprehends that their personal decisions and choices will either lead them to peace and power in Christ, to empty self-fulfillment, or to destructive evil. From this point, they are able to stand on the truth of Jesus Christ and grow in their love and faith in Him. Clarity is brought to the Biblical meaning of spirit, soul and body so each individual truly understands how, as God’s children (Romans 8:16), they are empowered to live in peace, harmony, and joy with Christ, and also with others. Scott is persistent in bringing his teachings to strategic points of reflection so that his students experience personal application. He believes the consistent application of truth, drawn from God’s Word, leads to one becoming less of themselves and more of Christ (John 3:30).

UNDERSTANDING YOUR ENEMY – His ways, power, and schemes:
Satan Kills and Jesus Gives Life: Learn to identify the difference between the enemy’s purpose in destroying life and how Jesus came to give life – John 10:10. The life Jesus gives is eternal, through salvation, and earthly by walking in peace and joy with Christ as He exemplified on earth.
Armor of God: Gain a new understanding of both details and description of the Armor of God, as described in the book of Ephesians, while learning the principles of being “clothed” in Jesus to stand against the works of Satan.
Understanding Strongholds and Soul Ties: Learn to identify and define how the enemy controls people through strongholds and soul ties. This teaching builds understanding about these challenging subjects and learning how to surrender to the cross of Christ for the purpose of breaking spiritual bondage and receiving the freedom and power of living in Christ.

Understanding Your Mind – PART 1: “What Influences Your Mind?” – This class provides the foundation for understanding the spirit, soul, and body with primary emphasis on the influences that one experiences in their mind. One’s mind can either be influenced by their sinful nature, which is also referred to as the world or Satan’s domain, or by the Holy Spirit through their regenerated spirit. This teaching is a two-part series.
Understanding Your Mind – PART 2: “Renewing Your Mind In Jesus” – Understanding sin while surrendering to the Cross of Jesus Christ, participants learn to become more like Christ. Truly comprehending how to take all thoughts captive to Christ leads to freedom, when you understand your identity in Christ as a child of God. Learn how to submit yourself humbly before God, and how to rest in Him, allowing Him to transform your mind, and life, by His influence instead of the world’s.
Your Heart Matters Most: The parable of The Sower is the center point of this teaching. This class helps participants understand the four different types of “hearts” that Jesus reveals in Luke 8:11-15 and brings clarity to each state of being. This teaching empowers and encourages participants to seek Jesus with all of their heart, which results in fulfilling their kingdom-purpose in life to bear much fruit from the sown seeds.
Calling on the Name Of Jesus: Learn about the Biblical meaning of the name of Jesus Christ and discuss how to be delivered from life’s hardships by calling on the name of Jesus (Savior) Christ (Messiah).
When You Pray: Learn as you walk through the Lord’s Prayer to understand the principles and applications of Scriptural prayer according to Jesus. The primary emphasis is on learning the succession of prayer by praising God, studying each section, and embracing the understanding of being delivered from evil and temptation. Strategic methods take the class through the elements of prayer for the purpose of teaching how to pray, or enhance one’s prayer life, in conjunction with the Scriptures.
Faith In Jesus Leads To Action: Faith is defined and broken down into two parts: internal faith and external faith. Internal faith encourages one to be a “doer” of the word, allowing the Scripture to take root in your life. The Scripture is meant to provide knowledge but also to transform a person’s life. External faith is acting upon what God is doing in your life to serve others. Combine the two and the greatest commandment of loving God and loving people is fulfilled.
Obeying Jesus Is Loving Jesus: This class illustrates the Biblical understanding of obedience, coupled with love, as written in John 14:15-24. As a child of God, you are called to live obediently for the purpose of placing your focus on Jesus and not simply to follow a list of rules. God directs you toward obeying His word because, as your heart seeks to follow Jesus, you will experience more of His divine presence in your life. Your obedience to Jesus is a response to the true measure of your love and adoration for Him.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR GOD – God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit:
What Does It Mean To Walk With Jesus? This study brings understanding of what it truly means to “Walk with Jesus.” This class intently focuses on Jesus’ walk on earth and His focus on, and response to, His Father God. From this observation and understanding, students are taught that walking with Jesus is choosing to learn and follow the examples and ways of Jesus.
The Work of Jesus Christ: The study of Philippians 2:5-11 reveals Jesus’ path from humiliation to exhalation. This class charts Jesus’ work (coupled with additional verses) to highlight the importance of Jesus’ incarnation, earthly life, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, His sitting at God’s right hand, and the awaited Second Coming of Jesus and future reign and eternal glory.
Jesus Is The Way: This is a three-class study of John 14:6, as Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. This study focuses on Jesus as the way to God. The Tabernacle was compared to Hebrews 10:19-24 revealing Jesus’ fulfillment of the way to God through His crucifixion and resurrection. By the blood of Christ crucified you are forgiven of your sins and may enter into God’s holy presence.
Jesus Is The Truth: This exciting study reveals the difference between lies and Scriptural truth. Satan is revealed for who he is as the father of all lies. Students learn to focus on God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus as the truth giving eternal life and separation from Satan’s lies and sin.
Jesus Is The Life: Through Satan’s deception and sin came death. However, through Jesus, and the shedding of His blood on the cross, eternal life was given. Christ died for your sins once and for all. Believe this gospel message and embrace the life in Jesus. This study culminates leading students to an understanding of this wonderful reality and teaches application - turn from the power of Satan to Jesus Christ. “The Holy Spirit” – Divine Nature & Purpose: This two-part series starts with The Holy Spirit’s divine nature as God and progresses to revealing His purpose which is to lead you to Jesus Christ. The Scriptures reveal the incredible power of the Holy Spirit and how He is dedicated to fulfilling His purpose drawing each student to Jesus. Students will come to a clear understanding that through the Holy Spirit, their spirit is brought to life by believing in Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
